“When we did our own first Camino, no one warned us how hard it is to begin. That's where Mi Primer Camino comes from: the Camino we wish we'd found.”
Who we are
Two friends, one idea: no one should walk their first Camino alone.
Six days, 111 km
From Vigo to Santiago, day by day.
Day 1
Welcome in Vigo
We welcome you at a lovely restaurant in Vigo, where we have lunch and go over the essentials: the pace, the boots, the backpack, what to expect — and where we stamp our pilgrim passport for the first time.
Arrival → Vigo
Day 2
Redondela to Pontevedra
We walk through pine woods and villages. We reach Pontevedra, one of the prettiest towns on the Camino. Free afternoon to wander its old quarter.
Redondela → Pontevedra
Day 3
Pontevedra to Armenteira
We step fully into the Spiritual Variant. We climb alongside the river on the idyllic "Stone and Water Route" until we take shelter in the timeless peace of the Monastery of Armenteira.
Pontevedra → Armenteira
Day 4
Armenteira to Vilanova de Arousa
A stage of vineyards and sea. We arrive in Vilanova de Arousa, where the pilgrim boat awaits to cross the estuary following the route the Apostle’s body once took.
Armenteira → Vilanova de Arousa
What they say
Pilgrims who already reached Santiago.
“I did my first Camino with Pilly and Cata and, for the first time in years, I worried about nothing. I just walked. And cried, too.”
“I came alone from Buenos Aires, scared of walking 100 km. I reached Santiago with five new friends and the feeling that I can handle anything.”
